BRX Editor opens your Brick Rigs vehicles in the browser: edit bricks, colors and metadata with tools the game does not give you, then save straight back to your vehicle folder.
Three steps, no installation, no export/import dance.
Drop a Brick Rigs vehicle folder onto the editor, or browse to it. The folder holds
the .brv vehicle and its .brm metadata.
Select bricks in the viewport, change colors and properties, move and rotate groups, mirror across an axis, or go straight to the bytes in the hex editor.
Write the vehicle and metadata back to the same folder, or download a .zip. Load it in Brick Rigs and drive away.
The companion tool for custom content.
A resource plugin. BRX Editor only knows about the bricks it ships with, and a .brxrp file teaches it more: brick names, categories, properties and the 3D meshes used to draw them.
Modded and custom bricks. Load a plugin and its bricks show up in the palette and render properly in the viewport, instead of appearing as unknown blocks.
That is what Studio does. It reads game and mod assets, extracts the meshes and brick definitions, and packages the result into a single .brxrp file you can share.
Create, Read, Update, Delete. This is the API that makes any of BRX Editor's magic possible, akin to how BrickEdit uses BRCI under the hood.
Major updates only.
BRX Editor is free, and stays free. These people fund it anyway.
New features land on the Dev Branch for patrons first, while they are still being built. You get to use them, and to tell me what is wrong with them.
A downloadable copy of the editor that runs with no connection at all, and with no online code in it whatsoever.
Access to other paid mod content for Brick Rigs, and the entire backlog of old mods that used to be on Boosty.
